Trading Bots
General Trading Bot Information
Trading bots are an essential feature of Crypto OS. We don‘t consider trading bots as magical black boxes but as automation tools. Therefore, our trading bots help to achieve the following goals:
- Increase the efficiency of the trading process
- Increase trading opportunities
- Reduce or eliminate emotions
General Concept
Here’s the most important aspect to understand when it comes to Crypto OS trading bots:
Here are a few examples:
Signal | Token | Direction | Timeframe | Bot Action |
Hyper Scalper | ADA | Long | 1H | - Opens a long position whenever the Hyper Scalper flashes a buy signal for ADA on the 1H chart. |
MACD | XRP | Short | 1D | - Opens a short position whenever the MACD flashes a Bearish Crossover for XRP on the 1D chart. |
RSI | ETH | Long | 15M | - Opens a long position whenever the RSI flashes an Oversold signal for ETH on the 15M chart. |
Exchange Integration
Currently, Crypto OS supports three exchanges: Binance, Bybit, and MEXC. However, as described below, the available tokens as well as markets differs.

Trading Bot Setup How-To
Step 1 - Exchange Setup
Before you can activate trading bots, you need to setup your exchange settings. Therefore, you need the following information from your exchange:
- Private Key
- Secret Key
- Passphrase (only BloFin)
Once you have the information, you can navigate to the Settings section. Here you can select your Exchange and enter your private and secret key.
Step 2 - Bot Setup
Setting up a trading bot at Crypto OS is easier than easy. You can set up a new trading bot either from the timeline, the Trade Signal component, or by using the bot management.
We will go through all of the options below:
Bot Setup using the timeline of trade signal component
Every trade signal contains a trading bot icon as shown below:
Once selected, you can set up your bot according to your needs with the following UI:
Here are a few explanations:
- The information line at the top provides you with all relevant information about the token, its current price, the direction of your trade and your exchange.
- The text below provides more details about the trade and especially the signal and direction of the bot.
- The trade size input specifies the dollar amount that you want to invest with every trade.
- Take Profit and Stop Loss are only available for Binance so far. Please enter a percentage value in relation to the current price. For example if the price of an asset is currently $1 and you enter a take profit value of 5% and stop loss of 1%. This will automatically close the trade when the price reaches either $1,05 or $0,99. Neither TP, nor SL are mandatory.
Bot Setup using the Bot Management
By using the bot management you can take a different approach to bots. Instead of searching for a specific signal you can select tokens and go through the most promising signals.
For each token, you will find signals and their backtest success rate.
Accordingly, you can simply select your token, the chart timeframe, trade size (tp and sl optionally), and the signal.
Afterward, you click on Activate Your Bot and you’re good to go!
